The BallroomU Curriculum

Start dancing at BallroomU as a newcomer. Get introduced to some of the most popular social dances, meet other dancers like you, and find out what ballroom dancing is all about.

Known as Bronze 1 & 2 at other studios, this program is attainable for every student! Learn variety and feel comfortable with any music and partner. You'll be a hit at any social event or dance setting.

Known as Bronze 3 & 4 at other studios, bachelor's students develop free movement around the floor, begin to understand technique, improve footwork, and get an introduction to styling.

Known as Silver 1-4 at other studios, master's students continue to expand on the concepts from the associate's and bachelor's programs while improving styling and performance in their dancing. Master's students can dance with any other ballroom dancer in social dance settings, showing off at every turn! Technique is emphasized in every movement.

Known as Gold 1-4 at other studios, the PhD program is for the dedicated dancer. Competitive dancing is encouraged at this stage. Intricate patterns are introduced in addition to choreography, showmanship, and high standards for styling and technique. Smoothness and control make PhD dancers captivating to watch.
